Head coach to be appointed by end of January - Will Brown
16 January 2015
Gloucestershire chief executive Will Brown says the club are on course to appoint a new head coach by the end of the month.
The county will start the first round of interviews next week as they search for John Bracewell’s successor.
Will said he was delighted at the number of high quality applicants he had received for the post.
He said: “I am really pleased with the response we’ve had and I am confident that the right person is out there.
“We’ve got applicants from a range of different backgrounds and nationalities including people that have won domestic and international honours as players and as coaches.
“The first stage of interviews will start the week beginning January 19 and we hope to be able to announce our new head coach by the end of the month.”
It was announced before Christmas that director of cricket John Bracewell would leave his position on January 31 by mutual agreement, with the club about to restructure its cricket operations
