Head Coach Dale Benkenstein to miss Glamorgan match after a family bereavement

Head Coach Dale Benkenstein has returned to South Africa and will miss Gloucestershire’s opening County Championship on Thursday match after a family bereavement.

Assistant Head Coach Will Porterfield will oversee training in the lead-up to the Glamorgan fixture before preparing the squad for Thursday’s season opener.

Benkenstein is likely to return for Gloucestershire’s first home match of the campaign against Yorkshire starting Thursday 13 April.
