Greg Willows included in England Under-19s squad against South Africa

We are delighted to announce that Academy Player Greg Willows has been selected for the England Under 19s squad.
They will take on South Africa in a two test series in July. Greg has been performing well in the Second XI most recently scoring 91 not out v Surrey and plays his Club cricket for Clevedon Cricket Club.
Greg is a former pupil at Sherborne School and more recently Millfield and has been in the clubs development programme since the age of 13. After starting A levels at Millfield, Greg briefly lived in South Africa before returning to the UK where he linked back up with Gloucestershire to join the Academy.
On his selection Greg said “I’m over the moon on my selection and it a real honour. I have spent plenty of hours working hard on my game with my dad and the Gloucestershire coaches."
Gloucestershire’s Head of talent pathway Tim Hancock said: “Its great to see England recognition for our Academy players.”
Second XI coach Owen Dawkins said: “having worked with Greg from 13 I’m delighted for him and it shows the commitment from Gloucestershire in developing players.”
