Gloucestershire Cricket is proud to announce the opening of our brand new Thatchers Café at the Seat Unique Stadium.
Serving artisan Clifton coffee made by our skilled baristas, the Thatchers Café provides a stunning setting for your morning meet-up with friends or lunch out of the office with colleagues. Overlooking the outfield of one of the most loved venues in English Cricket and located just off Gloucester Road, the Thatchers Café offers a unique experience for coffee lovers.
Aside from serving variety of hot and cold soft drinks, the Thatchers Café is also a licensed bar and boasts a delicious selection of snacks, fruit and freshly made sandwiches to accompany your chosen drink. From flapjacks to muffins, scotch eggs to bacon rolls and croissants to cakes the café offers a light bite to suit any occasion and appetite while also providing vegan and vegetarian options.
With a fast and reliable Wi-Fi connection the café can also act as the ideal place to hotspot away from the office or your usual work from home environment. While enjoying the calming surroundings of Gloucestershire Cricket’s home ground, you can kick back and relax in one of the café’s comfy sofas or pull up a chair elsewhere in the large seating area with a perfect view of the Seat Unique Stadium.
Marc Trought, Conference, Events and Hospitality Manager at Gloucestershire Cricket, said: “We’re delighted to have opened the Thatchers Café; it offers a fantastic coffee shop experience in a unique setting, and we’re excited to welcome our local community, supporters and Members to the café for fresh coffee and snacks.”
The Thatchers Café is open 8.15am - 4pm Monday to Friday on non-matchdays, and will be open in-line with ground opening hours on match days. For more information on match day opening times, click here.
You do not have to be a Gloucestershire Cricket Member to visit the Thatchers Café on non-matchdays, it is open to the general public and is easily accessible from the Nevil Road entrance to the ground.
