Gloucestershire Women’s Pathway players selected to join Glamorgan’s Academy in strategic partnership

Gloucestershire Cricket is thrilled to announce the inclusion of several promising young female players within the Academy at Glamorgan CCC. This exciting collaboration with Glamorgan, who will attain Tier 1 status in 2027, establishes a shared commitment to nurturing elite cricketing talent across both counties. As part of this strategic partnership, Gloucestershire’s young players will feed into Glamorgan’s academy structure, allowing them to begin their journey into professional cricket through a comprehensive pathway designed to elevate and support their growth within the sport.
With the Glamorgan Academy already in full operation, Gloucestershire’s talented players are joining an environment primed to produce the next generation of professional athletes. Gloucestershire Cricket is proud to announce the following five players have been selected to participate in Glamorgan’s Academy framework:
Becca Halliday
Emily Geach
Prarthana Reddy
Liv Daniels
Bea Ellis
These rising stars will not only gain exposure to Tier 1 Academy level training, but will also benefit from working with some of the region's best coaching staff and resources.
As part of this collaboration, Gloucestershire will host one of Glamorgan Academy's weekly training sessions in Bristol, a move that underscores both counties' commitment to accessibility and integration across the pathway. Gloucestershire’s coaches will play an active role in the Academy staffing, lending their expertise to the programme and enhancing player development through hands-on mentorship.
