Match Day Information -
We look forward to welcoming Somerset to the Brightside Ground, Bristol on Friday 17th June for what promises to be an intense local derby in the NatWest T20 Blast.
We are advising supporters to arrive at the ground early to avoid any congestion at The Brightside Ground. This is a floodlit match and gates will open at 4.30pm, so grab a drink, get a seat and enjoy the build up!

Tickets -
This match is now sold out. Tickets are not available to purchase on the gate.
Please check your tickets before you arrive at the ground. All ticket purchasers who selected print at home, must print off the email.
The main entrance to the ground is via Ashley Down Road, postcode BS7 9LU. However, if you are collecting pre-purchased tickets, please arrive at the Nevil Road entrance.
Nevil Road Closure -
Please note that Nevil Road will be closed to all vehicles from 2.00 pm on Friday 17 June. The road will re-open again approximately 1 hour after the close of play.
We strongly advise that supporters attending the game should use the Park and Ride service that is being provided by First Bus from the Portway Car Park to Gloucester Road, located at the end of Nevil Road. See below for further information.
Parking -
Due to preparations for the England v Sri Lanka ODI on 26 June, there will be no parking available at the ground. We strongly advise that all members and spectators make use of public transport or the Portway Park and Ride facility. Please see below details.
For those members who are Pass Holders (previously purchased 2016 parking permits, Premier Club members or blue badge holders) limited parking may be available in the City of Bristol College car park, off the Ashley Down Road (postcode BS7 9LU). Please note that this subject to availability and not guaranteed.

Park & Ride Service -
With no parking available at The Brightside Ground, the club is encouraging ticket buyers to use public transport or the park and ride facility when they visit as large crowds are expected.
The park and ride service will go between the Portway car park and the bus stop on Gloucester Road, located at the end of Nevil Road.
Timetable:
For the return journey to the Portway Park and Ride Site, these times may vary depending on when the match finishes. The first bus will depart 15 minutes after the match has finished and the last bus will depart 45 minutes after the match has finished.
Cost:
£4 per person. The Portway car park will stay open until 2230. We are advising supporters to purchase tickets in advance due to previous fixtures being sold out prior to the match day. Click here to book your tickets
Bus Service -
The Brightside Ground, Bristol on Nevil Road, is easily accessible by bus: Services 17/17A, 70/71, 72, 73, 75, 76, 78/79* all run within a five minute walk of the main entrance using stops on the nearby Gloucester Road (Services 71, 72, 73, 75, 76, 78/79), Muller Road (Service 17/17A) and Ashley Down Road (Service 70). All buses operate at very regular intervals, Service 75 and 76 run 24 hours a day.

Train Service -
The nearest train station to the Brightside Ground is Montpelier, approximately 1 mile from the Club and close to other public transport. The station has direct lines through to Bristol Temple Meads and a regular schedule to Bristol Parkway.
Food & Drink -
- Our T20 meal deal (chilli + drink) is available to purchase in advance of the match day (vegetarian option also available) it will be served in the Jessop Bar of the Bristol Pavilion. Please call 0117 910 8010 to book.
- The Optimum Sports Bar will also be serving a selection of food and drink and can be found adjacent to the Bristol Pavilion.
- Our new in-ground Cafe is now open at the Ashley Down Road end of the ground (on the main concourse under the apartments). Serving a range of hot and cold snacks, including pasties and sandwiches as well as hot and cold beverages, including beer, wine and cider.
- Additional food and drink outlets are located around the ground.
Cash -
Please bring cash with you to the ground as some of the additional food and drink outlets do no take card payment.
Entertainment -
For all NatWest T20 Blast matches there will be a variety of activities for all ages. This year we are bringing even more fun and entertainment to the Brightside Ground. When you arrive make sure you keep an eye out for the FREE goodies that we have, such as 4 & 6 cards, GlosCricket headbands and clappets.
Stewarding -
For all NatWest T20 Blast matches during the 2016 season we have increased the number of stewards in and around the ground by over 30% and there will also be a Police presence in the area. We would ask all visitors to respect our local neighbours and leave the premises quietly at the end of a match.
Seating -
In preparation for the England v Sri Lanka Royal London ODI match taking place on Sunday 26 June, temporary stands are now in place at The Brightside Ground. Please be aware that normal seating arrangements may be slightly different. Supporters are welcome to sit in any of the stands available for the general public.
Family Stand -
For this match, we are pleased to introduce a Family Stand. This stand will be located in front of the flats. We ask supporters to only sit in this stand if they are watching the match as a family or with young children.
