Match Timings
Start – 10.30 am
Lunch – 12.30 pm – 1.10 pm
Tea – 3.10 pm – 3.30 pm
Close – 5.30 pm
The main entrance to the ground is the Ashley Down Road entrance, postcode BS7 9LU.
Parking –
We strongly advise that all members and spectators travelling to the ground make use of public transport. Please see below details on bus and train services to the Bristol County Ground.
Limited parking may be available in the City of Bristol College car park, off Ashley Down Road (postcode BS7 9LU). This is subject to availability and not guaranteed.
For 2019 car park pass holders, Premier Club members or blue badge holders there are a limited number of spaces via the Nevil Road entrance of The Bristol County Ground, but these are only available on a first come first served basis and cannot be guaranteed.
Wheelchair access is available at both entrances and the open nature of our ground means that wheelchairs can be readily accommodated. If you have any questions please call our Reception on 0117 910 8000 or email reception@glosccc.co.uk
Bus Service –
The Bristol County Ground, on Nevil Road, is easily accessible by bus: Services 17, 70/71, 72, 73, 75, 76, T2 all run within a five minute walk of the main entrance using stops on the nearby Gloucester Road (Services 71, 72, 73, 75, 76, T2), Muller Road (Service 17) and Ashley Down Road (Service 70). All buses operate at regular intervals, Service 75 and 76 run 24 hours a day.

Train Service –
The nearest train station to The Bristol County Ground is Montpelier, approximately 1 mile from the Club and close to other public transport. The station has direct lines through to Bristol Temple Meads and a regular schedule to Bristol Parkway.
Food & Drink –
Please note – Alcohol is limited to the equivalent of four beers or one bottle of wine per person for Specsavers County Championship matches only. These items must be decanted. No glass or cans are allowed.
Grace Dining
Support Gloucestershire and cheer them on in style with a fabulous dining experience in the Bristol Pavilion here at the Bristol County Ground. Make sure you get in early to cheer the team to victory!
Come along and dine in the Grace Restaurant - two courses for £19.00 three courses for £24.00 served during the interval - Call 0117 910 8025/8030 to book. Please note that Grace Dining is available on days one, two and three of our match.
The Optimum Sports Bar
There are a variety of food and drink outlets at the ground. The Optimum Sports Bar is open every match day and serves a selection of hot and cold food and has daily special and vegetarian options. The Optimum bar also sells the 'Chef's dish of the day' for only £6.
Stumps Café
The Stumps Café located at the Ashley Down entrance of the ground is open and serves a selection of hot and cold food and has vegetarian options.
Museum Learning Centre
The Gloucestershire Museum and Learning Centre will be closed on Monday lunch due to the Members' Forum taking place in the Jessop bar. The Museum is also closed on Tuesday morning for the Schools Day taking place in the County Ground. The Museum will be opening again for lunch on Tuesday.
Members' Forum (Monday 23 September) -
A Members’ Cricket Forum is scheduled to take place at the lunch interval of the Specsavers County Championship match between Gloucestershire and Northamptonshire on Monday 23 September in the Jessop bar, located in the Bristol Pavilion.
Gloucestershire Cricket Chief Executive Will Brown, Head Coach Richard Dawson and Chairman John Hollingdale will be in attendance.
Schools Day (Tuesday 24 September) -
We look forward to welcoming over 100 children to the Bristol County Ground on Tuesday 24 September for Schools Day. The children will be taking part in cricket activities during the day and will be on the pitch for the lunch time interval.
Walking Cricket (Wednesday 25 September) -
Walking cricket is a specially adapted game that uses a pairs cricket format and is played with a soft ball. It is designed to appeal to older players and provide a less physically demanding alternative to traditional cricket. On Wednesday 25 September, Walking Cricket will be taking place durint the lunch interval on the pitch.
