Gloucestershire to launch networking club to connect local businesses
2 December 2024
Gloucestershire is thrilled to announce the launch of the Glos Cricket Business Hub.
Powered by and in partnership with Network My Club, the initiative is a new premium networking club for businesses across Bristol and the wider region.
The Glos Cricket Business Hub launches in February 2025 and will connect business owners and decision makers from SMEs across the region at networking events at the Seat Unique Stadium.
Quarterly events start on Tuesday 25th February with a networking lunch at the Seat Unique Stadium, Nevil Road, Bristol, with a special guest speaker to be confirmed in due course.
Tickets will be limited, with only 50 available to purchase, and an early bird rate offered exclusively to those on the waitlist. Sign up to the waitlist to pre-register your interest here.
Pre-registering and joining the waitlist means you’ll be first to hear when tickets go on sale in January, and first to take advantage of a very limited early bird rate when they do.
Head of Commercial at Gloucestershire, Joe Kaniecki, commented: “The Glos Cricket Business Hub is set to bring together local businesses across the region, including our existing partners and sponsors, which is something we’re very excited about.
“We thought about starting a business club ourselves, but by partnering with Network My Club it means working with a company that are experts with a track record in delivering networking clubs at sporting venues in a professional, friendly, and informal environment.
“With plans to incorporate events both on the same day as cricket, as well as non-match days, it’s going to be the perfect blend and the perfect place for businesses to connect in a relaxed setting.
“We look forward to the first event in February and welcoming everyone to the Seat Unique Stadium.”
Founder of Network My Club, Bradley Hatchett, added: “We’re pleased to bring the Glos Cricket Business Hub to life, and to deliver premium level networking events that create real opportunities for businesses.
“Our events are all about making networking something attendees look forward to, that prioritise people over sales-pitches, and bring together high calibre businesses.
“In working with Gloucestershire Cricket, it means creating unique event experiences and will help them be better connected with the local business community, their current partners and sponsors, and showcase the opportunities at the club and venue.
“It’s a new city for Network My Club that we’re excited to expand into and complements the work we are already doing in nearby towns and cities. Our ambition is to attract both local companies, as well as those outside the area looking to grow in Bristol.
Working with the reigning T20 Blast champions is exciting, and we hope to deliver a winning business club too.”
