Gloucestershire to face Somerset in red-ball Friendly
15 July 2020
Gloucestershire Cricket can today confirm a red-ball friendly fixture will take place against Somerset starting on Sunday 26th July.
The match will follow the following format:
Sunday 26th July: The Cooper Associates County Ground
Monday 27th July: The Cooper Associates County Ground
Tuesday 28th July: Bristol County Ground
Wednesday 29th July: Bristol County Ground
Please note that both venues remain closed to the public and the match will take place behind closed doors.
Assistant Head Coach Ian Harvey said: "It is brilliant to be playing a competitive fixture before the season officially commences. This will be a fantastic opportunity for our players to test themselves against a quality opposition ahead of the first game. We look forward to welcoming Somerset to the Bristol County Ground.
"We are extremely grateful to both Somerset and our staff for the amount of work behind the scenes to get this fixture to happen at both venues. On and off the field there are many challenges that we need to prepare for over the next couple of months"
