Tavare Finds His Form At Edgbaston

Will Tavare top scored with 69 as Gloucestershire made 205-8 on the opening day of the two-day friendly against Warwickshire at Edgbaston.
The visitors batted for 60 overs before declaring at tea, as had been agreed before the start, and Warwickshire replied with 112-2 off 30 overs by the close, David Payne taking both wickets.
On the second day the roles will be reversed, with the hosts batting for 60 overs and Gloucestershire for 30 overs,
Tavare batted for hours, hitting 9 fours and a six. He shared an opening stand of 87 with Chris Dent, who made 40.
Payne later bowled Varun Chopra for 47 and also sent back Jonathan Trott lbw. Tomorrow's play starts at 11am and admission is free.
