6 October 2021
Gloucestershire Cricket has signed a five-year kit deal with New Balance Teamsports, who will produce the Club’s training and playing kits for the upcoming 2022 cricket season.
The exciting new partnership with New Balance, who supply exclusive teamwear to some of the UK’s leading sports teams, will see the Club wear New Balance playing kits in all formats of cricket until at least the end of the 2026 domestic season.
Gloucestershire supporters and members will be able to purchase New Balance Club kits, accessories and a range of other co-branded clothing from our online shop and in-store at Bristol County Ground in the run-up to next season. As well as providing Gloucestershire with premium quality sportswear, New Balance Teamsports will also manage the Club’s online shop to help take our retail offering to the next level.
This long-term commitment between Gloucestershire and New Balance Teamsports will also involve both parties adopting a collaborative approach to working on environmental sustainability projects, as well as a range of other event initiatives.
Neil Priscott, Commercial and Marketing Director at Gloucestershire County Cricket Club, said: “New Balance has a track record of producing teamwear for winners and we hope that our new co-branded kits will help bring us success on the field next season. We’re thrilled to be working with New Balance over the next few years and we hope Glos fans love our new kits as much as we do.”
While offering modern and attractive sportswear to Gloucestershire’s existing fanbase, New Balance Teamsports also hopes to attract a new wave of younger supporters to the Club by supplying exciting and vibrant merchandise that fans will be proud to wear.
John Carden, Managing Director of New Balance Teamsports, said: “We couldn’t be happier to welcome Gloucestershire County Cricket Club to the ever-growing New Balance family. The club has an amazing audience of dedicated supporters and we’re excited to see how they react to the partnership and the new kit. We’re looking forward to creating a range of innovative and high-performance on and off field products that will capture the true spirit of the team, its heritage and its supporters”.
