The Shire Overseas: Ben Charlesworth off to a flyer

Ben Charlesworth is leading the way for Gloucestershire a a number of our first team squad begin their campaigns in Australia and South Africa during the English winter.
Lef-hander Charlesworth, making his debut for Woodville District CC in Adelaide, scored 95 as WDCC ended the first of a two-day match on 446/7. Charlesworth appeared alongside former Gloucestershire bowler Chadd Sayers, who played four matches for the Shire in 2019.
Chris Dent has also begun his South African adventure for Brackenfell CC, hitting 89* (47) last week, before a 2/21 helped steer BCC to T20 victory on Sunday 23rd October.
Jack Taylor, Tom Lace and Will Naish are due to fly out in October and will begin their campaigns at the following clubs:
