Gloucestershire Cricket prepares to take part in this weekend's Window Wanderland
20 February 2016
Hundreds of homes across Bishopston are making final preparations to their window displays before this year's Window Wanderland gets underway on Saturday 20th February at 6pm.
The event invites people to create colourful displays in the windows of their home and encourages everyone to walk the trail in an attempt to brighten up the long, dark nights and strengthen the community.
On Friday, community groups spent the day at the Bristol County Ground putting up window displays created by the North Bristol Drop In - who support adults with learning difficulties, and the Ashley Down After School Club.
Themes to look out for in the windows of the Optimum Sports Bar include: Humpty Dumpty, 10 Green Bottles, Chinese New Year and batik artwork.
The trail takes place on both Saturday and Sunday nights 6pm - 9pm. For more information about the event click here. (https://windowwanderland.wordpress.com/bishopston-north-bristol/)
