Gloucestershire County Cricket Club is seeking to appoint a new Treasurer, effective April 2016
20 November 2015
The Treasurer is the senior finance person at the Club. The Executive Board (of which the Treasurer is a key member) look to the Treasurer for both guidance and direction on all financial matters. It is an honorary role and in theory it is a non-executive role. However, the Club does not have a Finance Director and, as a result, the Treasurer will need to act from time to time in a more executive-type way.
The Treasurer is appointed for three years. He/she can then be re-appointed for a further three years.
This vacancy has arisen as the Club's Constitution provides that the Treasurer may only serve 6 years in the role. By the time of the 2016 Annual General Meeting, Tony Elgood, the Club’s current Treasurer, will have completed 6 years’ service.
For a copy of the job description, please contact Carolyn Prosser at the Club. Her email address is carolyn.prosser@glosccc.co.uk.
If you are interested in being considered for the role of Treasurer, please send Carolyn a brief CV setting out your skills and experience. Your details will then be passed to the Club’s Executive Board for consideration.
