Glos nominated for Marketing Campaign of the Year at Business of Cricket Awards
5 November 2024
Gloucestershire has been nominated for Tickets or Memberships Sales & Marketing Campaign of the Year at the 2024 Business of Cricket Awards (BOCA).
The Club is one of three counties put forward as a finalist for the award alongside Derbyshire and Essex. This award celebrates an innovative, multi-faceted sales and marketing campaign aimed at driving advance ticket and/or membership sales for any of the men’s or women’s formats hosted in 2024.
In deciding a winner for the BOCA, the independent panel of judges will be looking for examples of innovative campaigns that have driven measurable commercial results.
Gloucestershire’s nomination comes following significant year-on-year growth in T20 ticket sales over the last 12 months. In 2024 Gloucestershire sold 15% more tickets year-on-year when compared to 2023, a second successive year of growth having increased numbers by 38% in 2023 compared to the previous year.
The growth in T20 ticket sales coincided with Jack Taylor leading his side to glory in the Vitality Blast, underpinning the importance of generating a competitive home advantage on the pitch.
The winner of the Tickets or Memberships Sales & Marketing Campaign of the Year, alongside 17 other award category winners, will be announced at the Business of Cricket Awards at Edgbaston, Birmingham, on Thursday 14th November.
