Get your free Glos ticket by taking the National Players Survey

11 June 2014

Gloucestershire Cricket Board, and all of its associated leagues, are calling on recreational cricketers to have their say and help improve cricket in Gloucestershire through taking part in the second annual National Cricket Playing Survey.

For all who take part and give their email address there is the added bonus of a FREE ticket to a Gloucestershire game during the 2014 season.

Last year more than 21,000 current and former players nationally responded to the survey, with 500+ from Gloucestershire – the first of its kind ever undertaken – and the feedback has already translated into action at a local level.

Clubs and leagues across the County are introducing new formats, rule changes, different start times, shorter travel distances to matches and greater opportunities for women, girls and people with a disability to play the game.

The 2014 survey, which is live from June 5, aims to reach an even wider audience and generate further ideas and innovations which will help increase take-up of the sport. From the Premier League regular to the occasional, midweek social cricketer, every player, spectator and volunteer is being urged to have their say on all aspects of the recreational game.

Please complete the survey by clicking here and have the chance to win prizes including signed bats, shirts and pairs of tickets to an England v India Royal London ODI

The results have been presented to each County Board in a very useable way meaning that provided we get sufficient data (from you) we can split each question by the league you play in and the team you play in. This allows us to understand if there are specific problems in any one area more than others.
