Fuller Set To Take On Glamorgan

18 May 2013

James Fuller will have a first opportunity to make an impact on the Yorkshire Bank 40 competition when Gloucestershire face Glamorgan at the SWALEC Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The pace bowler was due to replace Will Gidman against Middlesex at Bristol last Sunday, but the game was washed out.

With Gidman being given a few more days to recover from his ankle problem, Fuller has a chance to make his mark in a game Gloucestershire need to win to kick-start their 40-over campaign after one win, one defeat and one abandonment.

Captain Michael Klinger admitted: “We need to beat Glamorgan to get a good early position in the group.

“Our aim is to play high intensity cricket with the white ball this season and we have some momentum after beating Unicorns in our last outing.”
