Fuller Back To Face Middlesex

11 May 2013

James Fuller is fit to return to Gloucestershire's team for Sunday's Yorkshire Bank 40 game against Middlesex at Bristol.

And there are also likely to be places for Graeme McCarter and Ed Young as the county revert to the one-day format after ending the LV=County Championship match against Hampshire with four substitute fielders because of injury.

Fuller is back after breaking a finger in the opening Championship game at Leicester and will replace Will Gidman, who is under treatment for an ankle problem.

Hamish Marshall, who has been suffering from a virus, will be assessed in the morning, but hopes to face Middlesex.

Gareth Roderick takes over behind the stumps from Cameron Herring, as he has done for the first two YB40 games, while Ian Cockbain will again be in the batting line-up.

Skipper Michael Klinger told this website: "Fortunately the injuries we have don't really affect our one-day team, except for Will Gidman missing out.

"Hopefully Hamish will be fit and if that proves the case our batting department will be as we want it for what is a very big game.

"Having won one and lost one in the YB40 so far, we need another victory to give us a good start in the competition.

"It's a big match for both teams and we will certainly be looking at playing with full intensity to take Middlesex down."
