Friends Life t20 v Somerset SOLD OUT!

19 June 2013

Gloucestershire’s home game against local rivals Somerset on Friday 26 July in the Friends Life t20 competition has sold out.

A combination of reduced capacity due to the ground development and very high early ticket sales has meant that the game has sold out 6 weeks ahead of the match. Hospitality for this game has also sold out.

Tom Richardson, Glos Cricket Chief Executive, said: “We only have two t20 matches this year in Bristol, with the other three up at Cheltenham and therefore demand for this game has been especially high.

Our only other t20 match in Bristol is against Worcestershire on Sunday 30 June. This is our first home game in the t20 and we hope for a big crowd to help the team get off to a good start. We believe we have the side to be very competitive in t20 and are really looking forward to the competition.”

The Worcestershire match will be a “family fun day” with amusements for children including free coaching and an inflatable obstacle course.
