Former Players' Day Event - Sunday 11 June
8 June 2017
On Sunday 11 June, a Former Players' Reunion Day will be hosted at the Brightside Ground, Bristol, during our match against Nottinghamshire in the Specsavers County Championship match.
It's an opportunity for the former players to meet up and reminisce whilst seeing the current crop of players in action.
Former Gloucestershire players such as Mark Alleyne, Mike Proctor, David Lawrence and Andy Stovold will be in attendance.
At the close of play, we’ll be gathering a panel of players from the 1977 season together for a unique 1977 Remembered Q&A event to relive that season. Tickets are £10 and must be purchased in advance - More information here
The reunion is organised by former player and Gloucestershire Cricket board member Andy Brassington.
Andy expressed his excitement ahead of Sunday, he said “I’m looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday. It’s fantastic to get so many of the former players together in one room for a catch up.
"For many of the players, it’s their only chance to come to the ground and reminisce with team-mates from the past. It should be a great day!"
