Final Day Washout At Derby
28 May 2014
No play was possible on the final day of the LV=County Championship match with Derbyshire at Derby.
Bad weather affected this game from the start and there was little prospect of a result with the visitors still in their first innings at the end of day three.
Gloucestershire had reached 66-4, replying to Derbyshire's 278, but were comfortable in the knowledge that a draw had long been on the cards.
Both teams took eight points from the rain-ruined fixture.
The result leaves Gloucestershire seventh in the Second Division table, but only seven points behind third placed Essex.
