Gloucestershire County Cricket Club has given extended trials to two local league bowlers.
Chris Skidmore and Robbie Montgomery, who both play for Bridgwater CC in the West of England Premier League, have been given trials until the end of the season.
Both Skidmore, an opening bowler, and Montgomery, a bowling all rounder, have featured in the Second XI over the past few weeks and contributed highly to the recent win over Northants in the Second XI Championship.
Owen Dawkins, Academy Director said: "Both players have performed well so far in the Second XI and their work rate and desire to improve day on day has been excellent. We feel that both players deserve an extended opportunity and this will provide good competition for places."
