England v Sri Lanka ODI | Ticketing Update
21 June 2021
The Club and the ECB are working with the Government’s Events Research Programme to increase our capacity at the Royal London One Day International at the Bristol County Ground on Sunday 4 July.
The match will be open to both adults and children, and we are delighted to be able to accommodate a bigger crowd than we had recently anticipated for this exciting and previously sold-out fixture between the world champions England and Sri Lanka.
As it is part of the Events Research Programme there will be some additional requirements to attend this match. This will include demonstrating (at the Gates on the day) that you have either received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine (at least 14 days prior to attending the match) and/or that you have had a negative NHS lateral flow test for COVID-19 (to be taken within the 48hrs prior to attending the match). We anticipate that all attendees will also be required to give their consent to attend and take part in the UK Government’s Events Research Programme.
We hope that you still wish to attend the match but should you wish to cancel please click here and fill in the appropriate section on our webform. There are two options – a partial refund (if one or more of your party cannot now attend) or a full refund.
If you wish to attend the match, you do not need to do anything now. All ticket holders will get an email by Friday 25 June confirming if you have been allocated tickets for this fixture, following the refund window.
Please note that the refund deadline is midnight Wednesday 23 June and all requested refunds will be processed within the following 28 days.
After this time, the Club will be in further contact with you (by Friday 5pm) to confirm your ticket status. In the event that the match is oversubscribed for the permitted capacity, and as previously stated, we shall prioritise “2020 rollover” customers first and then others on a first come, first served basis. Should we not be able to accommodate you, we shall write to you confirming your options at that stage.
All those attending the fixture will receive their e-tickets for the match as early as possible in the week commencing Monday 28 June.
Please note that, on the match day itself, and once inside Bristol County Ground, there will be no social distancing in place in the stands and in hospitality areas. Masks do not need to be worn whilst seated in the stands (or when eating or drinking or if you have an exemption) but they need to be worn elsewhere around the Ground. Hand sanitisers will be plentiful and made available around the Ground.
We appreciate you may have questions so please do read our FAQs here. If you have any specific ticketing enquiries please email tickets@glosccc.co.uk and a member of staff will be in touch as soon as possible.
Further spectator and travel information, which we would ask you to read carefully, will be sent by email with your e-ticket.
We would like to thank everyone for their support and understanding; we’re trying to respond and react to fast-moving events so please therefore bear with us if response times are affected as a result of high demand.
Many thanks from us all at Gloucestershire Cricket.
