England V India ODI 2014 - Over three quarters of tickets already sold!

Gloucestershire Cricket today announced that demand for Match Tickets for the One Day International between England and India to be staged at the Bristol County Ground on 25 August 2014 has been extremely high with over three quarters of tickets already sold. Some stands are already sold out with other areas of the ground nearing capacity.
Following the success of ticket sales for previous International matches held at the Bristol County Ground, Gloucestershire Cricket is urging its supporters to buy their tickets now to avoid missing out. A capacity crowd of 16,000 is expected on the day with a TV audience of circa 100 million people also tuning in to watch the match from around the globe. Click here for tickets
Ticket prices for the eagerly awaited return of International Cricket to Bristol are as follows:
Band A - Adults £75 U16s £25
Band B - Adults £65 U16s £22
Band C - Adults £55 U16s £18
A booking fee of £1.50 per ticket will be applied when buying online or by phone. Full terms and conditions – together with a seating plan are available here.
Mark Weston, Gloucestershire Cricket’s Ticket Manager, said: “Tickets went on sale for this match in late November and we have been working flat out since then to keep up with demand. Everyone at the Club is excited about hosting England v India for their first ODI next summer and we have found that many members and supporters have been buying tickets as Christmas presents. India's tour of England in summer 2014 will encompass five Investec Test Matches, a five match One-Day International series and a NatWest T20 International. The match on 25 August 2014 will be the first International cricket to be played in Bristol since the Club underwent its refurbishment programme.
