Dan gets into gear for T20 campaign with Mercedes-Benz

Dan Christian is looking forward to setting a similar example to his fellow Australian Michael Klinger at the wicket and on the road after signing on for Gloucestershire Cricket’s Friends Life t20 campaign.
The 30-year-old Sydney-born star has joined his former South Australian team-mate at Gloucestershire and is also following in his tyre tracks after being supplied with a car by Mercedes-Benz of Cheltenham & Gloucester. The Staverton Retailer provided a car to Sri Lankan cricketing legend Muttiah Muralitharan during his stint with the county last season.
Having represented his country 11 times in T20 and enjoyed previous success in the English T20 competition in 2010 when he helped Hampshire to the title, Dan is relishing the prospect of mirroring the stylish runs that his compatriot has been making for Gloucestershire and aboard his Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
“With three centuries to his name, Michael has settled in well at Gloucestershire and I’m confident that I’ll be able to do the same in the light of what he’s told me about the team, the club and its supporters,” said Dan. “Mercedes-Benz of Cheltenham & Gloucester has been great to us both in terms of the cars that they’ve provided and it will be an absolute pleasure travelling to and from games - there’s certainly plenty of room for my kit that’s for sure.”
The batsman/bowler is already suitably impressed by the ‘all-round’ abilities of his Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate model, which offers stylish performance, superb economy and spacious comfort in equal measure.
