Cricket Memorabilia Sale at the Bristol County Ground, Monday 8th June

1 June 2015

We hope you’ll come and join us and browse the wonderful items for sale! Timed to coincide with the Gloucestershire Former Players’ Reunion day, we’ll have all sorts of memorabilia on sale.  This includes items from John Higson’s personal collection as well as the treasure trove that is the collection of the late Vincent Coronel, founder of the Gloucestershire Exiles. This collection includes autograph sets, scorecards and Playfair annuals dating back to the 1930s; cigarette cards; touring team brochures fully autographed and much more besides. Chris Saunders will be bringing along a selection from his renowned Cricket Books collection and others such as Ken Burney will be reflecting our 2015 commemoration of W. G. Grace in their selection of items. Also on sale is Stephen Chalke’s latest wonderful book about the County Championship, Summer’s Crown, and Hamish Marshall benefit items.

This sale is in aid of the GCCC Heritage Trust, which is raising funds for the future Museum and Learning Centre at the County Ground.

We’ll be in the Jessop Suite on the ground floor of the Pavilion before the start of the game and throughout the day’s play. Please come and see what we have to offer!
