County Cap Award For Tavare
14 April 2014
Will Tavare was presented with his Gloucestershire county cap during the tea interval of the second day's play against Hampshire.
The ceremony, conducted by club chairman Roger Cooke, followed Will's outstanding innings of 139 to mark his LV=County Championship debut for the club.
It was a proud moment in the life of the Bristol-born batsman, whose uncle Chris Tavare played county cricket for Kent and Somerset, as well as representing England.
Will was only the ninth player to make a hundred on debut for Gloucestershire.
