Gloucestershire Cricket is pleased to announce that seam bowler, Chris Liddle, has signed a one-year contract extension, keeping him at The Brightside Ground for the upcoming 2019 season.
In the 2017 Royal London One-Day Cup campaign, the 6ft 4in left armer took 18 wickets in just six matches and was the second highest wicket taker in the competition at an average of 15.11.
In 2018, Liddle was again Gloucestershire’s leading wicket taker in the Royal London One-Day Cup, with 13 wickets to his name in six matches at an average of 25.92.
A reliable performer, Middlesbrough-born Liddle arrived at The Brightside Ground at the start of the 2016 season on a two-year contract following a move from Sussex.

Chris will provide a vast amount of knowledge for the younger bowling talent in the Gloucestershire side, specifically in the one-day formats where his experience is crucial for the 2019 season.
Head Coach Richard Dawson said, "Chris has consistently performed well in one-day cricket, he is an experienced and important player in the dressing room and we look forward to having him play for Gloucestershire in the upcoming season.”
