Gloucestershire Cricket is pleased to announce Cedar Care Homes as the Club’s Official Powerplay Partner for 2024.
The brand new partnership will see Cedar Care Homes’ logo used on the in-ground big screen, on social media and the Gloucestershire live stream during the powerplays at all home T20 matchdays at the Seat Unique Stadium in Bristol and at the Towergate Cheltenham Cricket Festival.
A Powerplay is the term used for the fielding restrictions in limited overs cricket and is often thought as the highest-scoring and most exciting period of the match.
Established in 1987, Cedar Care Homes operates 16 care homes across Bristol, Bath, Wiltshire and Cheshire. Over more than 35 years, Cedar Care Homes has gained an outstanding reputation amongst families and professionals involved in health and social care for its ability to offer high standards of care and a stable, safe environment for residents and their families.
Commenting on the new partnership, Head of Commercial at Gloucestershire Cricket, said: “I’m really excited to be working with the team at Cedar Care Homes throughout the 2024 season. Their brand will form a big part of our T20 matchdays and will help to create memorable occasions for everyone who comes to watch Gloucestershire in 2024.”
Ash Desai, CEO of Cedar Care Homes, said: “Cedar Care Homes is honored to announce our collaboration with Gloucestershire Cricket as the Official Powerplay Partner for the 2024 season. In extending our sincere wishes, we trust that players, staff, and fans alike will experience a game of heightened excellence and lasting memories.
"Joyful memories and strong links to our communities are paramount in our industry, hence the forming of our partnership with Gloucestershire Cricket. May this season be marked by outstanding performances, unforgettable moments, and the shared delight in the sport.”
