In line with the Floodlight Usage Management Plan, initial testing of the lights will take place on 4 and 5 April with a reserve day on 6 April.  Additionally the Club is in discussion with officers of the City Council regarding three possible training sessions on 19 May, 13 June and 5 July.

Should you have any concerns, please contact the Club on 0117 910 8000 or Bristol City Council on 0117 922 2500, option 4.

The Club anticipates that two fixtures will attract larger than average crowds, i.e. the Somerset T20 on 17 June and the England v Sri Lanka One-Day International on 26 June.

In the build up to these events we will endeavour to keep disturbance to local residents to a minimum but would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.

On these match days, as a result of requests from residents and with the co-operation of the Police and local authority, we will once more introduce a traffic management scheme to allow for access and egress of emergency vehicles and in an attempt to avoid traffic congestion in the roads surrounding the ground.  In order to facilitate this process an application will be made to the local authority for Nevil Road to be closed.

The road will be fully closed and stewarded with access being maintained for emergency services at all times in all parts of the street.  The stewards will be briefed to allow access for local residents.

In conjunction with First Bus the Club is encouraging all spectators to use public transport and the Park and Ride facilities that have been negotiated with the University of the West of England and Bristol City Council’s Portway site.

The Club will also be holding a local residents’ meeting for matters relating to the Club on Wednesday 20 April 2016 at 7.00pm.  This meeting will take place in the Premier Suite of the Bristol Pavilion.  Local Councillors are also expected to be in attendance.
