Benny in Bangladesh

Gloucestershire all-rounder Benny Howell has been busy in the off season and is currently playing in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) for the Rangpur Riders. Benny is no stranger to the BPL after spending two stints at the Khulna Titans in 2016 and 2017.
Benny and the Rangpur Riders have currently played three matches and are sitting second in the table, winning two out of the three fixtures. Other big names in the Rangpur Riders squad include, Chris Gayle, Alex Hales, Ravi Bopara and Rilee Rossouw.
Howell has featured in all three matches and has made impressive bowling figures in all matches. In the two victories for the Riders, Benny has taken 1 wicket with an impressive economy of just 4.16. In the opening match day loss to the Chittagong Vikings, Benny had match figures of 1 wicket for 13 runs in his four over spell.

The Riders next match in the BPL is away at the Dhaka Dynamites on Friday 11 January, Dhaka currently sit top of the BPL league and have the likes of Sunil Narine and Kieron Pollard.
