BBC expand ball-by-ball coverage
28 April 2015
Gloucestershire fans won’t have to miss a ball this season thanks to live coverage from the BBC.
The BBC’s local radio commentary is now available to access on mobile and tablet, meaning supporters can follow the action wherever they are.
As well as accessing live commentaries they can also keep up to date with the latest news, match data, scorecards and interviews in one place
People using the free BBC Sport app can also choose to receive wicket alerts and results as they happen, building on the service which already exists for international men’s cricket. All the content can also be accessed via the BBC Sport website.
This is the next step for the partnership between the BBC and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), which includes extensive commentary of every LV= County Championship, Royal London One-Day Cup and NatWest T20 Blast match via BBC online streams, hosted on the BBC Sport website and promoted on BBC Local Radio websites, the ECB website and county cricket websites.
You can also follow Gloucestershire through the live scorecard our website and via our regular Twitter updates. Match reports and exclusive interviews will also go online after every day’s play.
