1 February 2024
Gloucestershire Cricket is delighted to announce Astra Security will continue as the Club’s Official Shirt Sleeve sponsor for the Talent Pathway Programme. Shire’s boys County Age Groups playing shirt will feature the security company’s logo on the sleeve for the next two seasons in 2024 and 2025.
New for 2024, Astra Security, specialists in providing custom made security solutions, have become Gloucestershire’s official CCTV & access control partner at the Seat Unique Stadium. The company will also act as the Activation Zone partner for the Club’s Vitality Blast (T20) and One Day Cup campaigns over the next two years. The Activation Zone is filled with fun activities and games for children of all ages before and during the course of matches. Bristol and Cheltenham will both host Community Days in 2024 where Astra Security’s Activation Zones will ensure many children have days to remember.
Astra Security has been a huge part of the Gloucestershire Cricket family over the last few years in a partnership that has gone from strength to strength.
Joe Kaniecki, Head of Commercial at Gloucestershire Cricket, said: “Astra Security have been a long-time partner of Gloucestershire and I’m delighted they will be supporting the next generation of Glos players with sponsorship of our Talent Pathway Programme for the next two years.
“Not only that, the Club’s Activation Zone has been a huge success in recent years and, thanks to the support of Astra Security, has continued to grow and put smiles on faces during matchdays. I’m excited to be working with Astra over the next couple of years and look forward to welcoming the team back to the Seat Unique Stadium in 2024.”
Paul Beet, Managing Director at Astra Group, said: “We are so proud to be involved with the Talent Pathway once again through our partnership, and we wish all involved a successful season for 2024.
The Activation Zone partnership shows our continued commitment to the club and the community. A great way for everyone to get involved in cricket.”
