“It’s attracting International level sport to Bristol, spreading culture and having a huge impact economically through investments and facilities.”
Gloucestershire Cricket is celebrating this morning after lifting the ‘Leisure & Tourism’ trophy at the inaugural Bristol Life Awards which took place yesterday evening at the Lloyds Amphitheatre.
Over 600 people enjoyed a fabulous evening of entertainment, celebrating the very best of Bristol businesses.
Each award was tightly contested with Gloucestershire Cricket up against nine other nominees in the Leisure & Tourism category, which was sponsored by the Clifton Marquee Company.
Accepting the trophy on behalf of the Club, Cariad Silk, Corporate Hospitality & Sales Manager said: “It was a great honour to have been nominated for this award and we knew we were up against some tough opposition. To win our category was amazing and I am so proud of everyone that contributed to our success.”
Emily Salvidge, Head of Marketing & Commercial added: “This is a great achievement for everyone at Gloucestershire Cricket and is testament to all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to deliver a first class experience for our customers, members, sponsors and everyone that visits the Brightside Ground.”
