All Stars Cricket - Fun, Friendly & Active
3 May 2017
Summer is here and so is All Stars Cricket, a brand-new initiative from the England and Wales Cricket Board aimed at providing children aged five to eight with a great first experience in cricket.
The programme is being delivered across England and Wales at all fully accredited All Stars Cricket centres. There are clubs across all of Bristol and Gloucestershire running the programme.
It's a fun and active way to develop children’s skills through an eight-week programme. Lot’s will be learnt and friends will be made in a safe and inclusive environment.
For Kids
All Stars Cricket will provide you with all of the fundamental skills that you need to play.
Through lively, fun games, you will learn about cricket and be better prepared to take part in all sports. Over the eight-week programme, the trained activators will teach all participatants to:
• Catch and throw a ball
• Hit a moving ball
• Bowl with a straight arm
• Play a basic game of cricket
• Work and communicate as a team
• Have lots of fun with new friends
All girls and boys between the age of 5-8 are welcome.
You must register online which costs £40 but you will enjoy 8 weeks of cricket and receive a pack of cricket goodies (which you can take home) including:
• Cricket bat
• Cricket ball
• Backpack
• Water bottle
• Personalised t-shirt
• Cap
For Parents
All Stars Cricket is also fantastic for parents. For an hour a week all mums and dads are invited to get involved and play cricket with their children. We know this is a great way to spend time with your parents and create memories that will last a lifetime.
