Ali smashes England to victory in Bristol
25 September 2017
A sensational 53-ball century from Moeen Ali powered England to a 124-run victory and 2-0 lead in the Royal London ODI series against West Indies in Bristol.
The all-rounder struck the second fastest ODI hundred from an English player and took just 12 balls to move from 50 to 100 before being dismissed for 102 from 57 deliveries.
Liam Plunkett starred with the ball and finished with his first five-wicket haul in ODIs as the Windies were bowled out for 245 despite an impressive 94 from star man Chris Gayle.
The result means England take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series with two matches left to be played next week at the Oval and Ageas Bowl.
