Gloucestershire County Cricket Club is pleased to announce that Alex Gidman has signed a three-year extension to his contract.
The new agreement ties Alex to the Club until the end of the 2016 season.
Alex Gidman said: “I am naturally delighted to sign an extension of my contract with the Club. I am enjoying playing with our young team and the signs are there of some real talent coming through which is starting to show results. My main focus is to contribute to the Club winning a trophy in the next few years.”
John Bracewell, Director of Cricket, added: “It is great news that Alex has agreed to extend his contract with the Club. This will go a long way in helping us build a Club for the future. It is very important that we retain our best players and mentors going forward. GCCC must develop a long-term destination mentality.
