Alex and Will Gidman lend their support to Sport Relief

21 March 2014

Gloucestershire Cricket is proud to announce that Alex and Will Gidman will be popping into the Gloucester-based offices of All Fleet Services this evening in aid of Sport Relief.

On Friday 21March, 70 members of the All Fleet Services staff have volunteered to receive donation calls.  Throughout the evening, their call centre team will also be joining the fun and games themselves with sponsored leg waxes, games and competitions, all in the name of charity.  You never know, your call to Sport Relief may be answered by either Alex or Will Gidman, who will arrive at All Fleet Services after finishing a pre-season friendly match v Glamorgan Cricket taking place in Cardiff today.

As one of the UK’s biggest fundraising events, Sport Relief brings the entire nation together to get active, raise cash and change lives.  Since 2002, Sport Relief has raised over £195million.

All Fleet Services Managing Director, Dave Scobie commented:  "We are absolutely delighted to have been chosen to be one of the Sport Relief Call Centres for 2014.   A lot of our staff are on the phones every working day, so they are ideally suited to this kind of project.  They will be supported by volunteers from across the business on March 21st.  I hope we will help Sport Relief raise a lot of money for the excellent causes they support.  We know the evening will be hard work, but it will also be a lot of fun.  We are also looking forward to welcoming Alex and Will Gidman from Gloucestershire Cricket.  Having the support of local sporting personalities will be a great boost to our fund-raising efforts.”
