Zaheer Abbas back home after heart surgery

Gloucestershire Cricket understands that former Pakistan cricket captain, Zaheer Abbas, has been discharged from hospital after undergoing successful heart surgery to resolve a cardiac issue. The 71-year-old, who was hospitalised on Sunday in Karachi, is now recovering.
Abbas played 78 Tests and 62 ODIs for Pakistan from 1969 to 1985. During his time with Gloucestershire (1972-1985) he played 206 matches and scored 16,083 runs at an average of 49.79.
He was appointed as the President of International Cricket Council in 2015.
