ÂThe Hammond Roofers bid a fond farewell
5 September 2012
Ably led by Mr Chris Bascombe, the Hammond Roofers gathered for a photo in front of the Pavilion on Day 1 of the last home LV= County Championship match of the 2012 season, which they also sponsored as part of the Club’s Pitches Project. To commemorate the occasion, and to bid a fond farewell to the “old style” Pavilion, they were also invited to attend the toss before start of play.
Tom Richardson, GCCC Chief Executive, said: “Many thanks to the Hammond Roofers for their support and to all those who have sponsored the Pitches Project.”
A new state-of-the-art Pavilion will form an integral part of the Club’s ground redevelopment programme which is due to get underway in October 2012.
