6 O’Clock Gin enters third year of partnership with Glos Cricket
1 March 2024
Bristol-based gin distillery 6 O’clock Gin has extended its partnership with Gloucestershire Cricket for the 2024 season.
For the third consecutive year, the renewed deal will see the Seat Unique Stadium exclusively sell 6 O’clock Gin’s signature drinks throughout the venue. A hit with cricket fans in 2023, 6 O’clock Gin Matchday Cocktails will once again be on offer within the premium ticket area for all Gloucestershire’s home T20 Vitality Blast matches in Bristol and at the Towergate Cheltenham Cricket Festival this season.
6 O’clock’ Gin will continue to be sold throughout the venue at all in-ground bars on both matchdays and non-matchdays, with visitors to certain major matchdays also given the opportunity to try something special within the pop-up gin bar located within the stadium’s food village. Distilled in Thornbury, a few miles north of Bristol, 6 O’Clock Gin will also continue to sponsor Shire bowler Josh Shaw throughout the 2024 season.
Joe Kaniecki, Head of Commercial at Gloucestershire Cricket, said: “Ever since 6 O’Clock Gin came onboard at Gloucestershire their G&Ts and gin cocktails have proved to be a massive hit with cricket fans at the Seat Unique Stadium.
“We’re delighted to be working with 6 O’ Clock Gin for another year as we continue to show our support for local West Country businesses.”
As Gloucestershire’s partnership with 6 O’Clock Gin has gone from strength to strength in recent years, so has the company itself. Last Autumn 6 O’Clock Gin opened a brand new retail space, bar, and event venue right in the heart of the city centre, 6 O’clock Gin At The Glassboat, and Gloucestershire Cricket’s staff and players are looking forward to trying out the sparking new venue later this year.
Set on the banks of the Avon in the vibrant heart of Bristol city centre, The Glassboat offers an ideal setting to savour a selection of exquisite G&Ts and 6 O’clock Gin cocktails.
Chris Reynolds, Key Account Manager at 6 O’clock Gin said: “We are thrilled to have renewed our partnership with Glos Cricket for another year. It’s a really great fit for 6 O’clock Gin and we love seeing how our range of products continues to be so well received by the Glos Cricket faithful!
“It’s great working alongside Joe and the wider team and we’re really looking forward to being able to host the players and staff at our central Bristol venue – 6 O’clock Gin at the Glassboat. Here’s to a positive 2024 season on and off the pitch!”
