Gloucestershire Cricket is delighted to announce our full fixture list for the 2022 season.
Gloucestershire have an exciting summer of cricket ahead and can look forward to experiencing thrilling matchday action throughout the season in both Bristol and Cheltenham.

Gloucestershire kick off the Division One LV= Insurance County Championship season on Thursday 7 April, with a trip to Northampton. The Shire’s first home match in Bristol will takes place the following week, Thursday 14 April, when Dale Benkenstein’s team will host a visit from Yorkshire.
Bristol County Ground will host all SEVEN home Vitality Blast matches in the 20th Anniversary of the competition with the T20 home opener taking place on Friday 27 May, under floodlights against Sussex Sharks.
The Cheltenham Festival, which will be celebrating it’s 150th anniversary, commences on Tuesday 19 July when The Shire face Hampshire in Division One of the LV= Insurance County Championship. At this years Festival The Shire will also be playing a Royal London Cup match against Warwickshire on Tuesday 2 August. Western Storm will be playing in Cheltenham against South East Stars.

LV= Insurance County Championship
Gloucestershire begin the 2022 Division One County Championship season with a trip to face Northampton on Thursday 7 April, before returning to Bristol for a home match against Yorkshire on Thursday 14 April.
The Cheltenham Festival will host two County Championship fixtures, Hampshire and Northants being the visitors. Gloucestershire will be hoping to take revenge on Hampshire who defeated The Shire by 7 wickets at the Festival last season.
Vitality Blast
Gloucestershire’s Vitality Blast campaign will begin away at Middlesex on Thursday 26 May before we welcome Sussex Sharks to the Bristol County Ground on Friday 27 May in our floodlit home opener.
The mouth-watering home derby fixture against rivals Somerset will take place at the Bristol County Ground on Thursday 9 June - make sure you mark this one down in your diaries!

Royal London Cup
For the first time since 2016, The Cheltenham Cricket Festival will host a Royal London Cup match as Gloucestershire host Warwickshire on Tuesday 2 August in the height of the summer.
Gloucestershire, last season’s quarter-finalists, will also welcome rivals Somerset to Bristol County Ground along with Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire in the group stage.
