15 June 2016

Looking for an extra special gift for Father’s Day? We have two choices that will certainly be a memorable gift.

  1. Gloucestershire v Somerset – NatWest T20 Blast – Friday 17 June - 6.30pm

The biggest match in the South West takes place this Friday as Gloucestershire take on local rivals Somerset in the NatWest T20 Blast.  Not only will this be the biggest and most important match in the South West this summer, it will also be the largest ever crowd at The Brightside Ground in Bristol for a T20 match.

With over 10,000 supporters cheering on both sides and two heavyweight players featuring for both teams in Michael Klinger (Gloucestershire) and Chris Gayle (Somerset) it will certainly be a Friday night to remember. Previous fixtures between the two teams have always been the highlight of the summer. The match will also be the third NatWest T20 Blast played under the new floodlights in Bristol, adding to the atmosphere.

  1. England v Sri Lanka – Royal London One Day International - Sunday 26 June

On Sunday 26 June, International cricket arrives in Bristol and it doesn’t get much better than watching Joe root and co. England take on Sri Lanka in a crucial One-Day International in front of an expected sell-out crowd, and instead following the match on the radio or online, how about actually being there!

With less than two weeks to go until the match we are urging supporters to book their tickets soon as the match is expected to sell-out.

Watching England in cricket is also about the fun and friendly atmosphere and we look forward to welcoming plenty of father’s and their families on Sunday 26 June for an action packed day.
